Waymo's Product Operations teams are making the technology of the future a reality. We enable best in class operations capabilities by providing thought partnership to operations and product; building workflow and systems; and leveraging data insights. We often bring together teams across functions and organizations to help Waymo's commercial deployment, safely and efficiently. They do this by efficiently running processes, designing tools and automation, having good business sense and judgment, and working well across organizational lines.
You will report to the Head of Product Operations, Tools & Systems, and be based out of the Bay Area, CA.
You Will
- Facilitate the launch & adoption of products - ensure readiness across ops teams & Waymo partners and orchestrate deployments with engineering
- Lead post-launch support, analyze operational feedback, and ensure continuous improvement through data-driven recommendations
- Oversee user-submitted feedback systems - triage issues, identify trends, and influence tooling & operational improvements to drive long-term solutions for Waymo & partner users
- Act as a subject matter expert to internal and partner teams, providing guidance on high priority issues and informing training resources
- Maintain transparent communication with internal teams regarding upcoming launches, known issues, and key decisions, fostering collaboration and trust
You Have
- 8+ years of experience in a technology-focused role such as Product Management, Product Operations, Business Strategy, Product Commercialization, Technical Program Management, or Sales Strategy and Operations
- BA/BS degree in related technical subject (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering), or equivalent practical experience in a technical field
- Experience working with internet technologies and/or understanding of analytical tools and large data sets
- Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams and external partners
We Prefer
- Experience in managing enterprise-level product rollouts, including aligning operational priorities, coordinating across multiple teams, and driving successful adoption at scale
- Experience working with and building scalable solutions and systems for enterprise partners
- Strong technical background, with an understanding of tooling system development and deployment processes.
- Proficiency in analyzing data, metrics, and feedback to identify issues, trends, and tooling improvements to make informed decisions
- Experience identifying business needs, and then defining, and building technical solutions to address those requirements in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to build strong cross-functional relationships; experience working directly with product and ops leads
The expected base salary range for this full-time position across US locations is listed below. Actual starting pay will be based on job-related factors, including exact work location, experience, relevant training and education, and skill level.
