As a Staff Engineer in this domain, you’ll take a leading role in shaping the architecture and integration strategies that underpin our entire product ecosystem.
You will be responsible for the technical vision, design, and delivery of features and integrations that connect Parloa’s core platform with a diverse range of external systems, channels, and partner products. Your work will directly impact the scalability, reliability, and user experience of mission-critical customer solutions worldwide.

You will work closely with Italo to build the Product Suite & Integrations platform.
IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:
- Define and drive the technical vision for Product Suite & Integrations, setting a clear roadmap that aligns architecture, scalability, and reliability with Parloa’s long-term strategy.
- Lead architectural excellence by making high-impact design decisions, resolving complex technical challenges, and establishing standards for security, performance, and maintainability across multiple teams.
- Champion engineering quality and efficiency, optimizing workflows, improving system performance, and ensuring services meet or exceed defined SLOs.
- Enable cross-functional success by collaborating with Product, Infrastructure, Customer Success, and partners to deliver robust, observable, and high-performing solutions.
- Grow and inspire talent, mentoring engineers at all levels, fostering a culture of innovation, inclusivity, and continuous improvement.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:
- Extensive experience designing, developing, and operating high-performance, low-latency, and event-driven systems (e.g., Kafka, NATS) for real-time data processing at scale.
- Deep technical expertise in Python, TypeScript or similar interpreted languages at scale, with strong skills in distributed systems, system architecture, clean coding practices, and building maintainable, testable solutions.
- Proven track record leading complex technical projects, making high-impact architectural decisions, and delivering scalable solutions in fast paced environments.
- Strong leadership and collaboration skills, mentoring engineers at all levels, driving cross-team alignment, and fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
- Clear, effective communicator able to influence decisions, align stakeholders, and translate complex technical concepts into actionable insights.
