ABOUT THE ROLE
Join our Quality & Reliability team as a Reliability Engineering Intern and play a key role in building a scalable, data-driven infrastructure to support semiconductor reliability testing and analysis. This internship is ideal for students passionate about both engineering and software development, looking to make a tangible impact in a high-tech environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and implement a centralized database to manage reliability test data, wafer-level results, failure analysis reports, and component tracking.
- Collaborate with reliability, test, and product engineers to define data requirements and optimize data flow across teams.
- Automate data ingestion from lab equipment, test systems, and spreadsheets using scripts or APIs.
- Develop tools or dashboards for data visualization, trend analysis, and reporting (e.g., yield degradation, failure rates, burn-in results).
- Ensure data integrity, version control, and secure access across cross-functional teams.
- Document database schema, workflows, and user guidelines for future scalability and maintenance.
- Support ongoing reliability projects by providing data insights and analytics.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
- Familiarity with semiconductor reliability concepts such as HTOL, HAST, ESD, TDDB, or electromigration is a strong plus.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, or similar languages for database and automation tasks.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or Python libraries like Plotly, Seaborn).
- Understanding of semiconductor test data formats (e.g., STDF, CSV, JSON) is a plus.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
WHAT YOU'LL GAIN
- Hands-on experience in the semiconductor industry, working on real-world reliability challenges.
- Exposure to advanced reliability testing methodologies and data-driven decision-making.
- Mentorship from experienced engineers and opportunities to present your work to technical leaders.
- A chance to contribute to product quality and long-term reliability in cutting-edge technologies.
