About the Role:
Reporting to the Co-founder and CEO, the Chief Financial Officer will play a crucial role in the company's future trajectory, managing finance and operations during a period of significant growth and maturation. As a key member of the executive team, this person’s impact will extend beyond traditional finance and accounting, influencing broader strategic decision-making as a trusted number two to the CEO and Board. This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic and growing team while contributing directly to the mission of improving healthcare accessibility and health outcomes worldwide. This leader will be instrumental in executing key initiatives to propel the company toward its commercialization and growth objectives.
Responsibilties:
Provide insightful and trusted counsel as a business partner to the CEO on both financial and broad-based business initiatives related to the overall performance and health of the company.
Pioneer what this new “Staffing as a Service” business model will look like. What are the key KPIs to manage? Develop a framework for investors to value these new digital staffing businesses.
Oversee all finance and accounting functions, including corporate accounting, treasury, and client flow of funds, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Provide the executive team and board with financial transparency and strategic insight to better manage and measure the business, pricing model, GTM motion, and broader business strategy and goals.
Establish robust and sustainable accounting and FP&A processes, identify and measure relevant KPIs, and provide metrics-driven financial leadership to help accelerate growth.
Ensure best-in-class practices around compliance and revenue recognition, including an operational foundation to support significant growth and future capital injections.
Hire, lead, mentor, and retain a world-class finance and accounting team that will scale with the organization.
Qualifications
Must Haves:
Prior experience as a CFO in a fast-growing, VC-backed enterprise SaaS or healthcare technology company.
Proven ability to develop and scale a finance organization through all stages of growth, including leading teams in accounting, FP&A, treasury, contracting/billing, and other related functions to support evolving business needs and drive financial success.
Experience leading rapid or large-scale growth businesses to a successful exit or IPO.
Strong business acumen with the ability to work cross-functionally and translate key financial inputs into broader business performance.
Track record of holding cross-functional teams accountable and creating a culture of adhering to financial budgets and goals.
Demonstrated experience overseeing pricing, sales strategy/operations, and managing sales compensation structures. Skilled in developing growth-enabling commission plans aligned with company objectives.
Experience with investor and board-level communication, building trust and rapport with internal and external stakeholders.
