ABOUT THE ROLE

This Internship in Supply Chain is all about integrating knowledge and theory learned in the classroom with practical application and developing your skills in a professional setting. You will gain valuable experience in strategic sourcing in a corporate high technology/semiconductor setting.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage, organize and maintain engineering and production material inventory.
- Assist with purchasing processes, including generating purchase orders and maintaining supplier records.
- Help coordinate shipments, track materials, and ensure smooth movement of goods throughout the supply chain
- Participate in initiatives to streamline supply chain operations, resolve bottlenecks, and enhance overall efficiency
- Create automated supply chain tools using MS365, python, power BI reporting etc.
- Support procurement teams with supplier onboarding, and relationship management
- Willingness to work in the evening hours attending meetings with team members/vendors who are in the Asia Pacific Region
QUALIFICATIONS
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or a related field; sophomore, junior, or senior standing preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); working knowledge of Power BI and Python preferred.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated interest in innovation and continuous learning.
- Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with a strong sense of urgency and attention to detail.
- Well-organized, with the ability to conduct research and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Interest in supply chain operations within high-tech industries such as semiconductors, lasers, or optical systems.

This paid summer internship offers a competitive hourly rate of $40.00. Please note that as an intern, you will not be eligible for company-sponsored benefits, including paid time off, health insurance, life insurance, stock options, or retirement plans.
