YOUR MISSION:
We are looking for a highly motivated Finance Transformation Intern (f/m/d) to support our global finance team in driving operational excellence. You will help streamline finance processes, contribute to automation initiatives, and support the development of scalable systems and analytics that enable our finance teams to work more efficiently and make better data-driven decisions.
IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:
- Support the maintenance and improvement of our finance systems and tools in collaboration with Finance, RevOps, Business Operations, Data, and Engineering.
- Help analyze and document finance processes (e.g. Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Record-to-Report) to identify manual work and improvement opportunities.
- Assist in implementing and testing automation initiatives across areas like Accounting, AP/AR, and Procurement.
- Contribute to building and maintaining finance reports and dashboards (e.g. in Excel/Sheets or BI tools) and help improve data quality.
- Prepare documentation, simple process maps, and training materials to enable finance users on new tools and processes.
- Bring ideas on how AI and modern tools can simplify repetitive finance tasks and support small experiments together with the team.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:
- You are currently pursuing or have recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
- First practical experience in a start-up or scale-up (e.g. internships, working student roles) or in dynamic environments such as consulting or VC-backed companies.
- High motivation to work in a fast-paced, high-growth tech/SaaS environment and help build scalable processes from the ground up.
- Strong analytical skills, high affinity for numbers, and a structured, hands-on way of working.
- Ability to manage stakeholders across teams (e.g. Finance, RevOps, Data, Engineering) and communicate clearly and professionally.
- You can prioritize well, juggle multiple tasks, and stay organized in a constantly changing environment.
- Interest or basic understanding of finance processes (Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Record-to-Report); first exposure is a plus.
- Fluent in English; German is a plus.
