YOUR MISSION
Parloa is seeking an experienced Design Systems Lead (f/m/d)* to bring our brand to life through our design system and website design. Your mission will involve building and maintaining a high-quality, scalable design system that can easily adapt to both Parloa’s brand identity and those of our implementation partners when necessary. As a member of our product design team, you will play a key role in integrating our brand design into our products, setting high standards for the execution of our visual and UI design. Additionally, you will mentor other designers to ensure our design quality and consistency. You will partner with our Brand Office, Marketing team and external agencies to maintain consistency and support cross-functional initiatives, ensuring we stand out as an industry leader in visual design.
IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:
- Set quality standards: Lead the visual design quality across all Parloa digital touchpoints, ensuring consistency and that they align with brand direction.
- Design System Ownership: Evolve our design system so it can be seamlessly adapted for partner brands. Ensure the system is robust, scalable, and promotes consistency across all designs.
- Interaction Patterns: Develop and document interaction patterns for the Parloa product and website, working closely with engineering to ensure these are implemented to high visual standards.
- Figma ways of working: Establish and manage the Figma environment, enabling all designers to work efficiently and consistently within the system. Lead onboarding, training, and the implementation of processes that ensure the design system is used effectively and expands as the product grows.
- Brand Rollout: Provide visual design feedback to external agencies and ensure their deliverables are of high quality and executable across product and marketing. Lead design the rollout of the brand across the product and website, .
- Mentorship: Mentor graphic designers and provide guidance and feedback to product designers to uphold a high standard of visual and UI design across teams.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in design
- Skilled in crafting highly polished, industry-leading visual executions, with experience successfully shipping design systems in close collaboration with engineering.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Design related field, or equivalent years of experience
- Background in fast-paced startup or scale-up environments
- Advanced proficiency in Figma, including autolayout, component properties, and managing tokens and variables.
- Experience with brand refreshes, with at least one successful execution of a brand update in a digital product.
- Basic understanding of front-end development
- Stakeholder management and Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Adept at identifying and mitigating risks, and developing solutions to complex technical challenges.
- Organizational Skills: Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a proven track record of managing time and resources effectively.
- Excellent proficiency in English (native or bilingual)
